Our Prospect House Surgery in Keyingham has been temporarily closed since March 2020. We are now proposing that it will remain closed on a permanent basis.
We are not proposing changes to any of our other sites and our Chapel Lane Surgery in Keyingham will continue to be open as normal.
Given the proximity of Chapel Lane Surgery, some 62 yards away, we feel Prospect House site is redundant. In addition, the site is in need of extensive refurbishment and given the size of the site and location of the second Keyingham site, feel that investment of our estate would be better directed elsewhere. By focusing our staff resources on one site rather than two, we have been able to offer a more consistent service in Keyingham and have been able to increase the number of appointments available within the village.
We have no plans to withdraw services from Keyingham and remain committed to ensuring that you can access appointments within the village. We hope you will be supportive of our proposal.

Face to Face
We will be holding our regular “Meet the Managers” Saturday meeting at the Keyingham Branch Surgery – Chapel Lane, Keyingham on Saturday 28 October between 8.30am and 11.00am. Please note this is the larger branch practice near the main road with adjoining practice (and not the proposed closure site). Please feel free to drop in and discuss any concerns that you may have.
